If you have a wii and an HDTV you need this
I recently purchased an HD TV using this cable the picture quality increase has to be seen to be appreciated, everything is so much sharper compared to using a scart lead, my TV is only 20" but I noticed I don't have to sit as close to the TV now due to the increased sharpness, a top quality product.

This is a fantastic quality cable, as good as if not better than the official component cable. Build quality is superb. I gave up waiting for amazon uk and ordered one from amazon germany and received it within a week and it cost less too!
a quality looking cable from fanatec
I have just got this cable from Amazon for my LCD Samsung TV, which has component video cable connections. Initially impressions are the picture on Wii Sports Tennis is really sharp and colourful with the component video cable connected, compared to a poor blurred picture I have recently seen from a well known retail outlet of a Wii demo involving another game (as I have not used the composite cable that came with the Wii console, I cannot compare the composite to the component cable in picture quality). Some critics say a weakness of the Wii console is its graphics power, my initial impressions suggest that the cartoon style graphics Nintendo often use, rather than the graphics power itself, are the real issue and not every ones cup of tea (remember how much software developers squeezed graphics performance out of the successful PS1 console to its limits, whatever its limitations and the same will happen with the successful Wii console). The Wii console graphics to me are just bright and colourful, particularly for a first generation game such as Wii Sports, though I am sure this is much boosted by my Samsung LCD TV and this quality component video cable from Fanatec.
