Good Item 4
Wanted a way to connect my psp and my ps3 to browse and play games online as i do not have a wireless connection i went and bought this

Gotta say it does exactly what i wanted it to do.

had a couple of problems setting it up first of all but two emails to thrustmaster they replied with a step by step guide and all is working.

If you need to go down the same route as me to get online with your consoles you can do no worse than going for this item

Didn't work for me!2
I can only speak for myself, but i wish i'd have spent a little bit more on a wireless modem/router in the first place. I bought this as what i thought was a simple solution to getting online with my PS3.

Installation was quick and easy and at first everything was fine. I had very good signal strength for almost 3 minutes. Then it went to good signal strength for about five minutes before it lost all signal completely. I appreciate i cann't straight away blame the USB key as it could be my ISP causing a problem (Tiscali). From then on i have not been able to connect to the internet. I have re-installed the whole thing but to no avail.

I am now sending it back to suppliers to get my money back. It also looks scruffy hanging out of the front of the PC (which has to be on to use your Thrustmaster) if you have already used the USB ports in the rear of your base unit, and once installed you have to use the same USB port every time or it doesn't work. Not that it works for me anyway.

Just bought a D-Link wireless modem/router and it's amazing. A little more expensive than the Thrustmaster but worth every penny extra and more. I've had no problems online with the PS3 since i have had the router and can't stop gaming. (my missus is not as happy as me though)

I'm sure the Thrustmaster works for some people and works perfectly well, but if you want my advice then spend a little bit more and get a quality wireless modem/router, you will not be let down. (and you can play online with your PS3 when your PC is off.)

Happy online gaming!

Get a Netgear Instead3
It's ok I suppose. Although to be honest you could get yourself a nice Netgear wireless router for another £8 - probably a better signal strenght, more reliable and it also doesn't require you to have the pc switched on
