This is the original biodynamic sowing and planting calendar, now in its 47th year. This useful guide shows the optimum days for sowing, pruning, and harvesting various plant-crops, as well as working with bees. It is presented in colour with clear symbols and explanations. For the second year, the calendar includes a pullout wallchart which can be pinned up in a barn, shed or greenhouse as a handy quick reference.

Editorial Reviews
Review
'This annual publication is the book for those who want to farm and garden biodynamically. There are useful notes for new readers and a number of special features, including this time the care of bees with monthly notes for beekeepers, how to work with biodynamic preparations, a recipe for rye bread and answers to questions from readers concerning potato and tomato culture.' -- David Lorimer, Scientific and Medical Network Review
About the Author

Customer Reviews
multi-purpose calender
not only will this help you to grow healthier, tastier and stonger fruit, veg and house plants, but once you get the hang of it you can generally predict the weather better than the BBC. Its been spot on for my last 2 holidays in Cornwall and it gets Glastonbury festival right every year.
Too complicated
I found little of use in this book, it jumped in into too much detail from the start. Wish I'd bought a book written for gardeners who wish to follow the moon in plain english rather than being aimed at academics. As for the moon position maps at the end of the book, didn't make any sense from them at all. The text describing them was a few lines line, an example or two on how to read them would be nice.
excellent calendar for biodynamic planting
This is the second year I have bought this book and find it invaluable down my allotment - the calendar is easy to follow and I try and plant when it says the optimum time is right - last year I was the only one who didnt get blight on my tomatoes!
