Practical Bee-Keeping and Honey Production by D.T.Macfie
This little gem of a book affectionately describes the world of bees and bee-keeping. Although small, it gives a wealth of information, yet, despite going into so many details, it never becomes boring. The style of writing is warm and down-to-earth, easy to read and understand, practical, yet entertaining. To a novice the book gives a pretty good idea of what is involved in running an apiary; it inspires and leaves one eager to learn more.
