Low-cost but pretty useless
I bought this drive because I'm always carrying confidential files between my home and office PC. The drive looked very interesting, given the competitive pricing. But what a disappointment: it only works when you have administrator rights on your PC, which is not the case on many office machines. Worse, at home on my Vista machine, even when I login as administrator the SW keeps saying that I need admin rights and the encryption refuses to work.

On another PC the SW does work, but it's not the most user friendly I've seen. In the end, I deleted all the supplied SW and installed a free encryption SW on it, which DOES work perfectly. But I could have done that with any flash drive, didn't need to buy a secure one for that.

Bottom line: the price is honest, which is why I didn't send it back after all, but the documentation is not. And even if the SW does work on your machine, it's not too user friendly.

Not great as an encrypted jump drive
This is a great USB jump drive if encryption is not a major factor. However, it is not a good product if both ease of use and data encryption are important. Similar to many other USB sticks with software-based encryption, you need admin right of the PC to encrypt data. You are far better off to use paid/open-source encrypting software, or go for the hardware-based encrypting jump drives, like SafeStick.

Quck and Easy
Great Arrived Early and working great issue is it does not allowe you to password protect the entire drive but with secure vaults who needs to, if you lose the caps easy then this might not be a good choice for you as you will lose the Pen drive insted as you will see with the item image the string loop is in the cap but the cap is firmly placed on the body needing presure to be removed.

over all good buy for anyone who is always worrired about how much storage they have on the go and worries about security. i also recommend the San Disk Cruzer.
