Perfect map for everyone
This map is a 1:25,000 scale - perfect for walking, hiking and short cycling trips.

The Landranger maps may look better, but are 1:50,000. 1:50,000 is pathetic for hikers unless very experienced in their use - imagine ur road atlas being half the size and trying to read the road names.

This is the map to go for. Being OS, it's fantastic, and even has the ski centre and all its ski lifts marked out!

Can't go wrong
If you're not planning on upgrading to GPS etc. (And the worry that batteries will run out...) then this is the only real option. And the waterproofing is very strong.

You'll still want to use a map case, as even though it can take the rain and wind, you don't want to be carrying it separately all day.

Best bit is that it doesn't tear at the corners when it gets wet and you're folding it back on itself. So no more buying a map every trip.
