Maps need work2
Having bought this book after reading good reviews, I tried three of the walks. The descriptions of the walks are good but for two of the three walks the maps were inaccurate. For the "Hospital Lochan" (Walk 2), the highlighted line follows a stream rather than the path and the high point (B) is in the wrong place. For the "Pap of Glencoe" (Walk 15) the highlighted route is shown firstly up an impassible gorge and then the final scramble is marked up an impassible cliff. Either the author hasn't completed the walks or hasn't checked the maps. For me, the book was spoiled by the inaccuracies in mapping.

Essential for walkers and dog-lovers alike!!5
We are slowly collecting the whole series of these books. An absolute essential for those who love walking and most of the walks are dog friendly. Each walk is extremely accurate and most have been chosen offering spectacular views so always take a camera - although you'll find you'll want to do each walk more than once!! Go out and buy the book pertinent to your area now!! You will not regret it.

well worth the money.5
i have quite a collection of these now. pathfinder guides have taken me all round lancashire (my home land..), Yorkshire dales/mores and most of wales!!! im of on my first ever break in Scotland soon, and im sure i have all i need in the one book. its more than a map as it points out many places of interest along the way that i have missed in the past following a standard OS map. new or second hand, the topography remains the same. so go and buy one now, where ever you might be going.
