Suits a Apple Macbook Upgrade5
Fitted this in a Macbook in about 5 minutes. Its near silent and seems to give off very little heat. So I've now a faster, quieter and bigger capactity Macbook for all my itunes and imovie files! Recommend this. To fit, take out battery, remove three screws from the side panel and pull out the hard drive. I used super duper software to copy the old drive first and then restore back.

Works great with PS3!5
I recently bought PlayTV for my PS3 and found it takes quite alot of memory. As I only had a 40gb PS3 i thought i would look to update. This HDD was so easy to use. There are videos on youtube on how to remove the HDD and replace it, and that's all you need to do! Put your new HDD and your ready to go. Great product as I didn't want to go for an external HDD as i wouldn't of had a clue how to set it up and i couldn't afford to buy a bigger PS3.

Very good HDD 4
I also brought this for use with my PS3. I already had a 40 GB HDD in my PS3, i removed this and put it in a external cage (the one you can get with this item. After messing about with the formatting it was easy to swap two HDD!

Advice - If your using it for PS3 - remove the old HDD and replace with the new 1(DONT FORGET TO SAVE EVERYTHING YOU HAVE ON A USB PEN ETC). Next format the new HDD in the PS3. Then put the old PS3 HDD in the cage, and follow the instructions to create a new partition - FORMAT THE PARTITON TO FAT32 !!!!!! - but as you are using FAT 32 the largest partition u can make is about 30GB, so i made 1 30GB and 1 5GB, (some of the memory is used up in the running of the HDD)

Hope this helps....the whole thing (including my 'learning curve') only took about 30 mins (+format time).

Summary - Great price, turned up within a day, made my PS3 into my personal DVD store (already got about 100+ Films, music and god knows how many pics)....basically if u have a PS3 and want to upgrade the memory its worth the money, cause you wont run out of space...esp. if you put the old HDD in a cage!

Hope this helps!
