Very useful
I bought this to connect to my PC's graphics card secondary output, then attached a HDMI between the adaptor and my plasma TV - now I can output my PC video to the TV as well or use it as an extended monitor. It works as planned, my only grumble being the thumb screws aren't long enough to reach the sockets on my graphics card (ATI 1950) so I can't fix it in place - but it sits on the socket fine as it is.

I bought and XBox 360 Elite and wanted to play in HD. Problem? No HD TV. Solution? This tasty gadget to allow an HDMI cable to connect to a flatscreen monitor with DVI in.
