not every hood is the same.
This is a VERY high quality product worth every penny. Covers the lense perfectly without being visible on the pictures (like some 3rd party hoods are when taking wide angle shots). I only wish it came with the 17-55mm lense.

does what it says on the tin
Essential buying for the EF-S 17-55 and with the quality to match that lens.
It REALLY should be free though on a 600 quid plus lens don't you think ?
