Don't waste your money...
No problems whatsoever hooking up my Q2 to the GPS and to the pillion Q2 unit however, it was all pointless... The sound quality is poor to the extent you cannot hear anything when you are doing speeds in excess of 30mph, and that's without earplugs. With earplugs, I found you have to be stationary and still struggle to hear the other person whether it is from the other Q2 or telephone call.

Over promised
I bought this for 2 reasons:
1) in the short term a particular trip where I needed phone communication
2) longer term so I could use gps and phone

The unit fixes to a helmet quite easily. It will pair to a bluetooth phone or gps with a bit of effort so long as your unit is compatible (and it may not be!). Sound quality on the move was good for me - with or without earplugs I could hold conversations at any speed. Receiving is easy - just speak to answer the call. Making a call via the voice dial on your phone is not a good idea on the move because the you have to press the correct button on the unit wearing gloves at speed etc. I found it difficult, possible yes, but too tricky to do it a lot.

However, it will not pair directly to both phone and gps at the same time. To use a phone and gps together you must operate the phone via the gps unit. Which means that your gps must support this. Many will not. Your best bets are TomTom Rider or a Zumo - but the rider already comes with a headset. For me I'll probably keep my gps soundless and phone link active, or maybe the other way round butin any event it is not ideal.
