The stainless steel fondue can be used for cooking oil and stock based fondues, and because it has a glass liner, cheese and chocolate fondues couldn’t be easier. The liner not only stops the cheese or chocolate burning, it also means that cleaning is much easier.

It comes with it’s own matching forks crafted in stainless steel, each of the six is identified with a different dice number on the handle so you need not worry about the forks becoming muddled.

Excellent product
My wife decided she wanted a fondue, but when I made enquiries it seemed that you needed a thick base on the pan for cheese fondues (so the cheese doesn't burn) and a thin base for oil fondues. All the fondues I reviewed seemed to be designed for one or other. The beauty of the Bodum fondue is that it has a thin metal base, but there is a glass insert for use with cheese (you put a litre of boiling water in between the metal and glass), which keeps the cheese hot without burning. Very good quality.
