Manufacturer's Description
This fondue set is ideal for cooking meat and sauces or melting cheese and chocolate. The set comes complete with a stainless steel and ceramic bowl which fit neatly onto a metal stand. It is perfect for dinner parties with six stainless steel forks that are colour coded for individual use. The coloured forks can rest on small indentations in the stainless steel bowl which stops them from falling together. This quality fondue set is great for entertaining guests but also makes an ideal gift.

Misleading product description
This product is described as a dual fuel fondue set and the product description clearly states that either methylated spirits or gel fuel can be used.Having received the set I read the instruction book which says "NEVER use methylated spirits with this item". This set was intended as a gift for overseas and I would not be allowed to take gel fuel aboard an aircraft. I am duly returning this item and would have rated it NO stars if I could!!!
Bad product
I bought this product and the ceramic bowl is cheap and had a crack in it. Once I received the replacement I noticed that you can only use the fondue gel capsules in it - and not meths or normal gel as Amazon suggests. So can't use it!
What a brill little set!!
In spite of the bad reviews, once I searched through all the fondue sets, my heart was set on this one. This has two bowls, dualfuel, stainless steel as opposed to cast iron, so this appeared best for me. And I am not at all disappointed.
I have no idea what the other two people are talking about, as the set is indeed dual fuel, so unless the product itself has changed, I don't understand their comments.
I am still experimenting with recepies, but I already had a couple of great fondue nights, and made some cheese and chocolate fondues that went down well. I would recommend this product.
