    Great!4
Brilliant fondue set, good for small gathering of friends. used it twice and it has been fine both times. excellent value!

Cracking - but not in a good way1
We purchased the heart-shaped version of this fondue set for my daughter's Christmas present. We followed all the instructions, yet the candle (supplied) cracked the fondue bowl on the first use. I wrote to Kitchen Craft to ask how it should have been used but got no response. I cannot recommend this product at all.

    It's a chocolate fondue set5
This chocolate fondue set is exactly that.

The candle radiated a good amount of focussed heat although it did require manual ignition first. I found that both lighters and matches worked equally well.

Upon placing chocolate fondue into the bowl, it remained in place until gradually depleted as it attached itself to the various food stuff temporarily placed within it's rather viscous consistency. This is, rather pleasingly, the desired effect.

The supplied forks facilitated the brief insertion of the foodstuffs referred to above without the risk of contaminating the user's fingers such is the distance from one end of the fork shaft to the other. The forks provided are of the common binary variety as they only function in one configuration. Happily this is easily determined by the colour coded handles, which is a nice little safety feature avoiding inadvertent finger stabs.

Even the colour is a triumph since this universal model will coordinate with even the fussiest of decors.

It is my opinion that one would be hard pushed to find a superior model for the price.
