Does what it says!
Having found the slip case supplied by Acer with the Aspire One flimsy and offering little real protection, I'm delighted with this Cool Bananas Shock Protection Bag. Very slightly wider and longer than the Acer bag, the key differences are the more robust material and the "wall" sides which give the bag much more rigidity without adding significant weight. There is capacity in the bag for "flat" accessories (SD cards, USB sticks etc)and the zip clsoure prevents these or the computer sliding out.

I haven't put it to the absolute test yet (ie haven't dropped it with the netbook inside) but in that hopefully unlikely event expect a significantly greater chance of survival than with the standard case.

I have the black case with white trim - very tasteful, although I believe the bag is also available in brighter colours for those that way inclined.

Great value, really strong and definately protects the laptop with its shock absorbing slow responding spongy cover. Excellent
