Don't buy this if you want to take it outside
The box says that this has rubbber wheels -they actually are hard plastic and as a consequence the ride is very rough. With the jarring the unit that locks the front wheel works loose and you end up trying to steer with the parent pole, which is not robust enough. You also have to stoop down every few yards to relock the mechanism.

Lastly, part of the safety strap came off within ten minutes. It was not expensive but it is not as safe as it should be. My grandson loves it however, so we battle on. I tried to find out how I complain to Amazon but other than the returns process I can find no way to complain.

My nephew loved it
I bought this trike for my nephews first birthday, he is a very active advanced little boy who hates his buggy but absolutely loves this trike so much my sister cannot get him off it sometimes. There are expensive versions but this offers good value for money, my son had the same when he was one and we only got rid of it last month and he is now seven!!durable, fun and good value
