Doesn't turn off the screen: poorly located magnet
Bought this product for my blackberry storm. Expecting it to do the usual screen switch-off typical of these kinds of BB pouches. Unfortunately it doesn't work. The magnet in the pouch that is used by the BB to know when to turn off is located so far down the pouch that it doesn't work when the Storm is inserted.

Disappointing.

The other thing to bear in mind is that the insertion of the BB into the pouch tends to push both of the battery cover release tabs, opening the cover... something to think about for many of these design pouches for the Storm.

The blurb on this product states that "The best feature of this case has to be the Proximity-sensing technology. This intelligent system knows when the phone has been placed in the case and automatically shuts off the screen." Well, if this technology existed at all it certainly didn't work as my phone did not switch to idle mode when I placed it in the holster. If all you want is a holster to put your BlackBerry Storm in then this product will do, but it didn't do what it said on the tin. Not good.

Clearly not suitable for the Blackberry Storm
I received this case yesterday and it is nothing like the original case I received with phone when I purchases it. This case has all the problems previous posts have stated - the case does not contain the magnets to switch the screen off causing dreadful battery life, and also the phone doesn't properly fit in the case (the battery casing catches on the case). The case is clearly not suitable for the Blackberry Storm. The case also does not cover the full screen of the storm, resulting in potential scratches. My advice, spend a little more on a official Blackberry storm case!!!
