Make sure your moisturised skin is thoroughly dry, then apply your chosen self-tan in a thin layer, taking particular care around your eyebrows and hairline. Golden rules for everyone ....

Children’s skin must be protected from sun damage whenever they play outside – use Malibu’s SPF 30 specially formulated for young skin. A hat and tee shirt will give added protection, particularly when playing by water. It’s best to avoid the strong mid-day sun, but if this is not possible, make sure you use a High Protection sunscreen – SPF 15 and up – cover up and wear a hat. Apply sun lotion thickly and evenly and re apply frequently. And remember, sitting in the garden or park in the summer sun without sun protection can be just as dangerous to the skin as lying on a Mediterranean beach

Indications
If the summer sun is shining, apply sunscreen generously and often. Use a high SPF. It's a myth that using an SPF of 15 or higher will stop you getting a tan. If the skin does not burn, it tans more slowly and, without blistering and peeling, your tan will last longer. The higher the SPF (Sun Protection Factor) number, the better the protection.

Children are especially vulnerable. Loose-fitting clothes will help to keep babies cooler. Protect children's skin from sun damage whenever they play outside. Cover up and seek shade when the sun is strongest, between 11a.m. and 3p.m. Remember that the sun at home can be just as damaging to the skin as in holiday destinations. Be aware that too much sun can cause skin irritation, heat exhaustion and sun stroke.

For toddlers and youngsters, apply one of Malibu's specially formulated SPF30 Kids lotions and protect them with sunglasses, a hat and loose clothes. Always apply sun lotion generously and reapply it frequently. Avoid over-exposure to the sun. Do not get burned.

Directions
Shake well before use. Apply onto the skin after sun exposure and smooth in evenly. Avoid contact with the eyes. Apply a generous amount to give a visible layer before rubbing in. Apply to face and neck after sun exposure. Rapidly absorbed, this lotion sits beautifully on your skin with transparent effect. To ensure full protection from your sunscreen, apply 20 to 30 minutes before going out into the sun. This allows it to form a protective film on the skin.
