Be Prepared For A Wild-Wind Of FUR!
My 16-1/2 year old short hair cat ("Scratchy") has typical thyroid problems which she takes pills for and is shedding fur and dander, as is to be expected. I hated brushing her as much as I hated finding fur everywhere. The FURminator solved all of that. She readily took to the FURminator and loved getting a massage as well as her fur removed. In about 15 minutes I had a ball of fur that could fill a half gallon jug container. It was astonishing. Now with all her gray hairs less, she looks healthier and is certainly happier. Being a `fairly wild' cat, she likes getting her fur brushed out. I don't know why I had not seen this product before, but it works very, very well. All I have to do is call her name and scratch the carpet with the FURminator and she comes running. Just be prepared for a great deal of fine fur!

Well, that's 8 out of my 8 cats prefer being groomed by it.

I discovered this product last week at one of the vet practises used by Animal Krackers, our Sunderland pet rescue and support charity where I mostly deal with rescued cats. The vet was using it on an oldish unwell cat and I tried it while she was out of the room. I couldn't believe how easy and effective it was and the cat loved it. The vet said it was the best tool she'd ever used for normal cat grooming.

And she's right, it's brilliant. It goes smoothly and easily through the fur of short and long-haired cats gathering all the loose fur up and in a way that doesn't discomfort the cats. And you'd be surprised how much loose fur there is on cats that don't even look as if they need grooming.

Just a word of advice: remove the fur after every stroke because it's so effective that if you don't the fur will go everywhere, especially on your clothes. This isn't cheap (though it's cheaper from Amazon marketplace than anywhere else) but it's worth every penny.

Essential for every cat-owner.

Just got this yesterday and it's brilliant. You won't believe how much fur it removes- I had to take a photo! It might be expensive but it's worth every penny.
