Wasteful product
Once an element blows - the product is useless and can't be fixed.
I rang dualit they said they do not sell spares for this toaster, they where very pleased to say 'oh but it is recyclable' big deal.
if you are thinking of buying a quality toaster don't buy this one.
buy the Dualit 2 slice Cream Toaster 20247 they supply all spares - and it will run for years. - have had a 4 slice dualit toaster for 30 years+
don't buy this rubbish spend out and buy the proper thing. and spread the word so they stop making this wasteful junk.

Good-looking great little toaster!
I read all the reviews on various toasters etc. on Amazon and to be honest there were none that actually jumped out at me and said "buy me". If they had a good review I didn't much care for the look. Then I saw this one in a local store and it really is a great looking toaster - and is soft-touch as advertised. My previous toaster did not have the extra lift button in case the toast got jammed, but this one does, so sticking sharp objects into my toaster to lift my toast is no longer an issue. It makes great toast, definitely crispier than my previous toaster. It has a neat little button to set the browning level which makes a pleasing light clicking noise as you rotate it. It has a neat crumb collection tray at the bottom, again something I was not used to, so no more crumbs gathering on the kitchen worktop! We are all so pleased with this toaster - the fact that it is Dualit is a bonus - everyone thinks its really expensive as its a top brand name, but this little model I think is very reasonably priced. We're definitely eating more toast these days!!! Very highly recommended. I was used to a 4-slice toaster, but don't miss the extra capacity as electricity is wasted a lot of the time when you only want one or two slices. If you're looking for a new toaster, I really don't think you can go wrong with this one - unless you really do wish to purchase spares, in which case you'd have to opt for one double the price. But you might as well have a brand new toaster in a few years really! I rate this 5 stars!

GREAT TOAST. GREAT TOASTER.
This toaster looks good, reasonable price for a Dualit and it makes good toast. What else do you need? Apart from bread of course.
