Shocking!
This toaster ceased to work after less than 6 months - and that wasn't constant use!
One morning it just stopped working, the lever wouldn't stay down and even when held down the elements wouldnt heat, I checked the fuse etc, but nada, totally broken.
It was an engagement present so no receipt and no word back from Dualit either.
Soft touch? they obviously think their customers are.

Dualit is alright
I looked at a number of reviews of Dualit toasters. They weren't good. However, I went with the idea that most people don't bother to review a toaster unless they're unhappy with it. Dualit is a British company, which is great and the toaster's look snappy.

Anyway, we ordered one, we've had it now for about a year, maybe slightly less and it comes under constant use. It has worked a treat since we bought it and I would recommend it to anyone. They look nice and they toast the bread just right.

some reviews said that the toaster can really "pop" the toast out. If you have 1 slice of bread in there, it does tend to jump a little bit out of the toaster, but not so much that it doesn't stay where it should do.

I say... buy one. They look cool, they work just fine and as a bonus they're built here in the UK.
