CASIO's EXILIM series was born with the appearance in 2002 of a "wearable card camera" - a digital camera with a very slim form. The new EXILIM Card EX-S10 maintains all of the powerful functionality of the cameras that were later developed in that line (high pixel count, zoom functionality, LCD monitor, photo functions, etc.) but it also embodies a return to a stylish thin form and a strong design presence. * As at January 6, 2008, for 10-megapixel class digital cameras. Based on CASIO survey. Thin form with a refined design The camera's stylish body, measuring 94.2 mm wide, 54.6 mm high and 15.0 mm thin (13.8 mm at the thinnest part) is the product of CASIO's relentless pursuit of thinness. It is finished according to two design requirements - a high quality feel created by the stainless steel body, and a unique beauty derived from its coloring. The camera comes in four colors - red, blue, silver and black. 10.1 million effective pixels, and a 3x optical zoom lens This new camera's thinner, smaller body was made possible without sacrificing high resolution image quality using a newly developed 1/2.3 inch CCD. Its high resolution images can be used to create beautiful prints even when enlarged or when the image is cropped. 2.7-inch wide and bright LCD offers high contrast The camera incorporates CASIO's newly developed Super Clear LCD. This produces extremely sharp and vivid images, thanks to its high contrast ratio and its 230,160 dot high resolution. The display can be viewed easily from above, below, left or right thanks to its wide viewing angle, and it is extremely bright, making it easy to see even in daylight. Auto Shutter function automatically records the moment of a smile or the instant when hand shake ceases Using motion blur detection technology, the camera can automatically take a photo at the instant when hand shake or subject movement ceases. Users can also automatically capture the moment of a smile, the instant when subject movem

Customer Reviews
Stunning to look at - Some sacrifices for size.
After my last Canon Ixus failed (my fourth in Six years) I decided to try another make. Saw this at the airport and was knocked out by the size. This is one small, thin camera. It has a wow factor!
The specs look pretty decent - 10 mp etc. The menu is easy to use, the screen is large (as big as the camera) and easy to see. It has a sepearate button to start video. The video by the way is brilliant quality!
As with many things in life - it has its flaws - the big one is the lack of image stabilisation. Because it is so small, shakes are magnified. Now, I consider myself to have a steady hold - but I still find maybe a third of the pictures I take have some sort of motion blur. I'm still trying to find any features that will help compensate for this in the menu - without success yet.
If you want an occasional snapper that will have zero pocket bulge for a night out, and that will truly wow people with its looks - then this is the business. If it's to be your primary camera, and sharpness matters to you then you'll probably have to get something a bit more bulky.
Pocket size genius
Just got this camera from the airport. Enough battery to be able to look at and learn a few things whilst on the plane. Very easy to use although the on/off button is quite small, so anyone with bigs hands will find this camera a problem. The battery can be recharged and it lasted the week plus extra when I returned. It's video is easy to use with just one button. Haven't tried to upload onto the computer yet, so can't comment on this. Big screen. Zoom easy to use, but again on the small side. If you want a camera that is small and compact then this is the one. The pictures also look very clear on the screen. Needed a new camera as the other SLR camera was lost. Too big and bulky to keep an eye on!
Casio - very poor quality product, very poor customer service
I bought this camera after reading a good technical review and upon recieving it i was quite pleased - until 3 months later when it just stopped working. I bought a new battery to see if that was the problem, but it wasn't. I sent it back, which i had to pay for packaging and postage and didn't recieve any compensation for costs. I received it a week later fixed and they had changed the software on the interface. I thought it was working fine until i tried to place my memory card into my PC and the images would not display. I tried this on several other PC's and it didn't work on them either. I bought 2 more memory cards and the same happened to those. I then tried the memory cards in my friends camera and they wouldn't work at all. I formatted them and retried them in my friends camera and they still wouldn't work. I've sent the camera back again with a request for a refund as this is absolutley atrocious that it would break this much and the company just does not care. It's cost me too much in postage and i will NEVER buy another Casio product again. Before i bought this camera i read several reviews of complaints of the camera breaking and the poor customer services. I should've listened to them and avoided like the plague.
