    Sensational5
Quite simply the best lcd tft I have ever seen. Yes it's expensive but you are paying for quality. Its stunning to look at, even better when you actually take it out of the box - nothing retro looking about this thing! Formac's ColourAccurate and ColourProof technology delivers brilliantly vibrant, sharp images. Picture auto adjusts to fit screen and its all very easy to setup and comes with a built in DVI (you MUST have a dvi connection on your graphics card, it does not support vga). Two usb ports on the back is another great touch. Three touch sensitive buttons control the brightness and on/off.

Its hard to find a fault with it. The only thing that some might not like is that there is no way to adjust it, but it's at the perfect angle anyway so not a problem. Overall, I love it.

    Awesome LCD Monitor5
This monitor is a very high quality 19" monitor that can be used with both PC and Macs and have a requirement for a DVI output from your graphics card.

The screens are well speced with a back light to enhance image image quality and vibrancy. Specifically dark TV scenes played on my previous monitor were often indistinct, however much more detail can be seen in these now.

The monitors look quite good too, with the only disadvantage being the large footprint on the desktop, however this is nowhere near the size of the old CRT monitors and there's storage space under the supporting rear leg.

Making the change to these monitors is best promoted by demonstration of the image quality. Having a dual monitor set-up and migrating the monitors one at a time made the benefits all too obvious to me. They are expensive, but they are worth it.

    Comfortable Viewing at last5
I've had my new Formac 1900 Extreme-3 (platinum) a couple of weeks now, and I LOVE it. I use a brand-new Mac Mini (Leopard) and the monitor hooked up easily and runs like a dream. It is incredibly stylish as well, if that matters.

I had two fears before I bought it, and both proved groundless.

One, I was worried it might be easily knocked over, as if it were a picture frame. But no. It sits as firm as all get-out on my wooden desktop. The secret to its stability are the three rubber feet, which grip like glue. I suppose if you gave it a good whack from the back it might fall over (no, I've not tried!), but it certainly won't with any kind of nudge during normal usage.

Two, I was worried about the height. I don't understand how folks can work with some monitors, set so high they have to crane their necks upwards to read the screen. I rejected the idea of buying an iMac for that very reason. I'm short, I have a neck problem, and the iMac screen is set way too high for me.

The height of the Formac 1900 is not adjustable, but it doesn't need to be. The top of the screen sits only 16 inches from the desk top, while the bottom of the screen starts 4 inches from the desk top. That means the top of my screen is at eye level, and the rest is below. This is the recommended height for computer users to set their monitors, and is extremely comfortable for long-term use.

The quality of the picture is fantastic, it's very responsive, just a lovely piece of kit. I'm considering ordering a second, just to have a "spare," in case Formac stops making this model. Note to Formac: Please don't stop!!! If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
