Reassuringly Expensive!
Was told this was the "Stella" of all external hard drive companies in the MAC market, so decided to purchase the GTech Triple mini to help manage my high-def collection offline. Impressed with the look and feel. Works great via FireWire with the 924 being a good choice of chipset. Don't even think of trying to manage HD content on anything on less then 7200rpm with min 8mb cache. This has both and in the palm of my hand, good product and does what I need it to do.

Very fast portable drive
Excellent external hard drive. Purchased the drive to store my HD movie and some personal production, was very very fast with retrieving the content, the 7200RPM via FireWire was excellent. Was pre-fromatted for immediate use with my iMAC. Due the performace I am happy to pay that extra compared to a standard drive. For HD content store and play a standard drive just can't do the job, this G-Tech one was perfect. Free delivery as well.
