Manufacturer's Description
In 1996 the first George Foreman Grill was launched and has gone on to sell over 100 million grills worldwide.
Its phenomenal success is down to its patented fat reducing design, ease of use, versatility and speed. By grilling from both the top and bottom grill plates simultaneously, food cooks up to three times faster, plus unwanted fat and grease is channelled away from foods into the drip trays provided, for a much tastier and healthier bite.

The George Foreman Family grill is designed for frequent use and is ideal for the larger family or when entertaining guests as it will cook up to ten portions of food! The George Foreman Grill will cook any type of food even from frozen, including meat, fish, vegetables, paninis and toasted sandwiches.

Box Contents

  • 1 x grill
  • 1 x spatula

Customer Reviews

Its Massive!!5
I'd been looking around for a George Foreman grill for a while now. I've been to multiple shops to look at all the different ranges and just couldn't find one I liked. I then saw this one on Amazon and it had the look and design and the space I needed for what I wanted to cook.

On arrival I was overwhelmed by the size of the box and then even more so on removing the unit from its packaging. It was maaaahoooosive!!! It was actually alot bigger than I expected and probably a little too big in all honesty.. Anyway I wasn't going to return it as I'd waited too long for this moment so out came 4 Birds Eye Burgers and off I went. The amount of fat that came out of the burgers and collected in the drip tray was amazing. A must have for fans of burgers, sausages and bacon etc. Very easy to clean afterwards with the cleaning utensil provided and a wipe over with a sponge.

I'd just say watch the size as it is maaaahoooosive.

Fab and huge!!!!5
Great big grill much needed for my family of 5. First made toasties with it - superb as we were all able to eat at the same time!!!! Great price, speedy delivery and great item. Would thoroughly recommend.

BIG and fast!!!5
Every review for this product tells you it's big, but not HOW big, search on-line and somewhere you might actually find the dimensions, but when you're listening to the people on this site you'll be thinking, maybe they're exaggerating....THEY'RE NOT. You might even be thinking, 'How big could it be?', it's BIG.

But even if you do know the dimensions it's not a simple case of ensuring you have enough space to contain the grill, when you have the grill closed, the handle overhangs the bottom of the grill by 12cm, and when you open it, the lid overhangs the back by an extra 4cm, so if you don't want the handle poking out over the edge of any worksurfaces and you want the lid to open onobstructed you'll need more space. However, if you simply want to be able to open the grill unobstructed whilst the feet of the grill sit safely on a worksurface and you don't mind the handle poking out over the edge of the worksurface then you'll need a little less space, although not much less as you still have to accomodate the drip tray which stands independently in front of the grill, and obviosuly it wouldn't be particularly safe, especially if you have kids.

(D)=Depth (W)=width (h)=height
(D)x44cm (w)x50cm (h)x15cm - With the lid closed
(D)x42cm (w)x50cm (h)x44cm - With the lid open
(D)x54cm (w)x50cm (h)x44cm - With grill physically unobstructed
(D)x49cm (w)x50cm (h)x44cm - With handle sticking out from worksurface

Last thing you have to consider space-wise is this thing gets HOT, so having a space exactly the sizes mentioned above will probably end up in you burning down your house or at least causing heat damage to whatever surrounds it.

(D)x55cm (w)x70cm (h)x80cm - For safe practical, totally unobstructed use

Right, so how good is it, it's very good, and quick too, the grilling surface measures 47cm x 24cm and the amount of grease that drips into the tray is unbelievable, first thing I cooked was 8 quarter pounders, they cooked in about 10 minutes and despite the amount of grease that dripped off of them they were still very succulent, which I find often isn't the case with an oven. It can cook foods up to 3cm thick which covers most Chicken Breasts, it cooks from thawed as well as frozen and like I said it's lightning fast and probably doesn't use up anywhere near as much energy as an oven, so it's a money saver and more environmentally friendly.

My only gripe is that the grill is supposed to cook things evenly, but unfortunately the majority of the pressure when the lid is closed is put on the front of the grill causing anything you cook at the front to cook faster than the things at the back. I've not tried it yet, but I should imagine if you're cooking two thicknesses of food, if you put the thicker ones at the back they should cook at the same speed as those at the front due to the pressure being placed on the thicker items first.
