Great product
Great product - I use mainly for soups. Might need to stop and stir occasionally but still wonderful.
Disappointing
This blender looks great - on a par with Kitchen Aid. However, it's no good for soups unless of course you have time on your hands to wait until the liquid has cooled completely. I used mine (filled only partially and with soup that was not overly hot) and the goblet cracked. I know it says not to liquidise hot liquids but I thought this was because the force of the blender can force the liquid through the lid (with the resultant risk of being burnt), not that it might potentially crack the glass goblet (I think this needs to be pointed out in the accompanying user manual). From a safety point of view, I prefer Kitchen Aid (i.e it blends warm liquids without cracking the goblet).

I have to say that I love the look of this blender. You can tell it's robust and well made unlike most other blenders on the market which are made from nasty plastic. More importantly it works very well and blends most stuff very rapidly. It has a quiete motor not screaming loud like my old blender. I am pleased with the choice I made over kitchen aid, never disappointed.
