Synopsis
The Emmy Award-winning ladies of Wisteria Lane have even sharper fangs in the juicy fourth series of DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES, a primetime soap opera that takes aim at the dark side of suburban life. The fourth installment revolves around the return of Katherine Mayfair (Dana Delaney), a one-time neighborhood resident with an abusive past that she can never fully escape. Katherine joyfully reunites with her old friend, Susan (Teri Hatcher), who is unexpectedly expecting, but immediately clashes with Bree (Marcia Cross), who is pretending to be pregnant so that she can soon raise her teenage daughter's child as her own. Meanwhile, Lynette's (Felicity Huffman) cancer creates obstacles in both her marriage and her friendships, and Edie (Nicollette Sheridan) continues to fight with Gabrielle (Eva Longoria Parker) over Carlos (Ricardo Antonio Chavira). Each delightfully twisty, catty storyline comes to a powerful conclusion in the season's controversial time-jumping finale, 'Free'. The 17 episodes included in this set feature guest appearances from John Slattery (MAD MEN) and Nathan Fillion (FIREFLY).

The show that gets better and better every season 5
I own every season on DVD, and can't wait to own this one. It gets better and better every season. I cannot think of one bad episode. If you have not seen it, then I recommend seeing the first season through to 3 first so you get to know the housewives and get to know their lives. You will find yourself loving this show and shouting at the screen especially when you see the episode with the Tornado. Pre order now and treat yourself for when the kids go to bed!

Highly addictive5
I have to admit that I found the first two series of Desperate Housewives just so so, but series 3 and especially series 4 turned me into a serious DH addict ( Susan due to her second husband's history will understand forgive me I for this affiction). The music and the narrative are just wonderful. I can never settle who is my favorite housewive.... and that is properly one of the tricks.... they are annoying and likeable at the same time, changing all the time.

As many have pointed out the series gets better and better and more entertaining, but as well more deep. The only remorse I have: it ended too soon. Cannot wait till series 5 is avalaible.

Best Season so far!! 5
The best show to hit our TVs in a long long while!

DH season 4 has so much more than the previous seasons. Yes, 1,2 & 3 were all amazing, yet season 4 just has that little bit extra; a central mystery that keeps you enthralled and gagging for more, great acing and laugh out loud moments (especially the "Lynette-charades ninja" moment) adn of course the Tornado episode: "Something's Coming." Possibly the best episode of DH so far. (ALthough it's hard to decide between that and "BANG" from season 3.)

A must have set for all fans, and any people who love mystery, drama, romance and hilarious TV.
