very interesting
I gave this book to my granddaughter for Christmas and she loved it but she is mad about horses! She is 11. I must say it seemed very interesting and informative with lots of pictures and is ideal for children from about 7 or 8 I would think.

1000 things you should know about horses
well I was expecting a book that would give me really interesting knowledge on horses that maybe I didnt know, but, nothing of the sort,
it,s ok for a kiddies book but if you have any equestrian knowledge you will know the stuff in the book already , ok for a real beginnner.

She loved it!
I bought this for a friend's daughter for her 8th birthday (who loves horseriding) and she loves it!
