    Nice idea, poor execution3
We have spent ages hunting for a suitable bin, in the end I opted for this. I have been a little disappointed. The novelty soon becomes an annoyance. The lid opens when you do walk near it or lean across it - this slightly annoying but you do get used of it.
There is a flimsy internal collar which secures the bin bag, every time I empty/change the bag and have to remove the collar I am just waiting for it to break, it's just a matter of time. This could be a much more robust.
When lifting the bag out of the bin, there are no holes to allow the air in at the bottom, so you can battle with a full bag whilst the vacuum inside the bin itself is fills with air.
The batteries do need replacing, approx. £5.50 every 6 months (or use rechargeable ones if you are organised...)
The automatic opening is a very nice feature but the trade-off is the neck is very small compared to conventional bins of the same size. The delay in opening when you wave you hand in front of it is also a bit annoying, I am sure for more patient people this would not be an issue.
The concept is great; I do feel that the design could be better.
