Manufacturer's Description
A set of three cream biscuit and cake storage tins.
"If you’ve spent time making a cake or cookies you don’t want them to go stale – and if you haven’t got time, don’t worry: these tins make even the shop-bought stuff feel homey and cosy." --Nigella Lawson
NIGELLA LAWSON'S LIVING KITCHEN
Nigella Lawson is one of the UK's most popular food writers and broadcasters. Her range of kitchenware items, designed in collaboration with Sebastian Conran of Conran & Partners, was launched in 2002. Her day to day experience in the kitchen led to her desire to improve the tools of her trade; the result is an original, practical and stylish range of kitchen items ideal for today's home cook. Paying close attention to form, materials and colour, the Living Kitchen collection is of a high production and design standard. Traditional materials such as ceramic and wood are used in a contemporary and imaginative way, improving the function of the products. Delightful to use and a pleasure to display in the kitchen; as Nigella herself writes:- "Everything has to be utterly reliable, but there needs to be a pleasure beyond the functional. For me, pieces of kitchen equipment are like toys for grown ups: getting them has to feel like a treat." From household favourites such as mixing bowls in Nigella's signature colours of "white with soul" cream or duck egg "good mood" blue, to elegantly curved cooking tongs, each item brings something new and useful to the kitchen. Sophisticated packaging makes Living Kitchen products ideal to give as gifts, or as a personal treat.

Waste of money
I bought a set of the blue tins thinking that they would be really useful and worth the money, unfortunately I was completely wrong. After a while the lids did not fit correctly, after going out of shape, and therefore they are now not airtight and quite useless for storing cakes and biscuits.
Not bad.....
Although the other reviews i read before purchasing the tins, seemed very negative, I'm glad i took the chance and purchased them in the end. The lids are a little flimsy but then i think it depends on how your store them and what you want to use them for. Not for heavy hardware thats for sure - but containing biscuits and fairy cakes they do very well!
Sub standard Cake Tins
Nigella Lawson Living Kitchen Cake & Biscuit Tin Set/3 Cream
What a disappointment, these cake tins are obviously sub standard and not worth the excessive price charged. The tins are made of Very SOFT THIN metal THAT DOES NOT WITHSTAND the constant use expected as within a few week of using them I found that the lids were not fitting correctly and the whole tin was becoming distored. I urge all customers to take notice of these failings.
