Customer Reviews

It's Great5
I bought a little digital scanner to copy my mountain of slides. Firstly it was a very long process and secondly if the contrasts were great in the slide the scan was useless. Basically all dark and light, no detail at all. I returned that after my first session. I looked for an alternative here on Amazon and came upon this. I ordered it direct from America, paid the same price in postage as the slide duplicator itself. Duty was added to, but it worked out roughly the same price as the digital scanner.
1. It's easy to use.......it screws onto the camera lens...point and shoot!!
2. Auto focus on the camera works mostly, but if not then manual focus.
3. Results are great.....100 times better than the scanner.
4. You can decide on the light source, daylight, lamp reflected light etc.

I've not tried to print any of the photos as yet, but on my computer screen the look fine. With a bit of tweaking some of my slides have taken on a new life. With cropping now so easy some of my concert photos
look near-professional.

I have no idea if all scanners produce lousy results, but I can recommend this to all owners of slides. If like me you're not professional and just want to have memories of dayes gone by, or share memories via the net (I have hundreds of my slides on Youtube for family and friends)get this. You will not be disappointed.

On a final note. As I said I ordered direct from the US on Monday and had it in my hands on Friday. Postage was steep, but unbeatable.
