Decent recorder
This is a very nice digital recorder. The sound quality is brilliant and there are a range of modes available. I have used it for dictation, focus groups and one to one interviews and in every case it has been perfect - even without using the conference kit that is available.

Uploading the files to your computer couldn't be easier and the software it comes with is good enough to allow you to listen at various speeds.

Well worth the money if you are a researcher.

Great product, definitely value for money!
I bought this item to record seminars and assemblies in large audiences, (1,200 people plus). At first I was sceptical whether this bite-size device would be able to handle this, but I am so impressed!

The recordings are sharp and clear and it cuts out a lot of backround noise. I had the recorder in my bag on the floor and had the detachable microphone via the remote control pinned to the top of a chair and it worked like a dream.

Only little suggestion: If you record long seminars, I would just stop the recording and start again every hour or so, in that case it keeps the individual recordings to a manageable size when you put it on the computer. I could burn the recordings straight to normal supermarket-bought CDs rather than having to edit or cut the recordings.

But it couldn't be easier, turn it on, press REC and off it goes!!

Battery life is very good, have used it so far for over 14 hours on one set of batteries and it still shows full power.

Well worth the money.
