Manufacturer's Description
The Icon Glass Stand can comfortably hold your entertainment system. Rather than having wood stand for your plasma TV, it uses sleek looking steel and durable glass that can carry a 50-inch plasma tv. There are two additional shelves for DVD, Blu-ray, satellite receiver or any other supporting devices.

The reinforced glass is 8mm thick on the top shelf and 5mm thick on the 2nd and third, making sure that this model really can take the strain. It's easy to assemble and its sleek design and overall good looks will ensure that it completes the look of your flatscreen TV.

    Premium I dont think so2
I purchased this to go with my new 50" Plasma TV, but to say its premium is not very accurate.

Easy to build but the columns are made of plastic and the legs screw in but there is not enough thread so they ping off, trying to move into position is difficult to as when you do the leg falls off so the shelves all slide down.

It will do as a quick fix but need to get a sturdy one now.

    Badly made2
Just put this together - there are long rods that hold this together and there is not enough thread left on them to attach the feet which gives you a certain amount of low confidence in terms of stability. Was very frustrated to get to the end of putting it together only to realise the rods holding it together are too short. Badly made in my opinion - now considering returning it!

Great buy! Don't be put off!5
I was almost put off buying this stand by the negative reviews from other purchasers, but am glad I went ahead as it is an expensive looking and great value piece of furniture, and I'm not easily pleased I've been told.

The problem according to other purchasers was that the rods holding the PLASTIC(actually metal) legs together was too short, well this is true but with a little thought I removed the plastic end pieces from the final short legs which enabled the feet to be screwed on firmly.
I say again its a lovely piece of furniture which is just the right size and looks great with my new Sony 40in Black TV. Well worth the minor glitch. A BARGAIN!
