Ideal Light Weight Camcorder5
Having recently purchased the Sanyo HD1010 Sanyo Xacti VPC-HD1010 Black MPEG4 HD Camcorder +4GB SDHC +HDMI Cable I am very impressed with its performance. The device is light weight and easy to handle . The menu system is really easy to navigate and change any of the settings. Picture quality is excellent on both video and Stills. The Super-Macro Focus is very handy for taking pictures of insects and small objects. The camera performs quite well in low light conditions also. Transfer of the footage to my iMac 24 was simple and I was able to edit the material in iMovie 08 without problems. Stills were surprisingly good from a camcorder with a very low noise level. Best stills performance is with ISO 50 but, the automatic setting gives good results. If you are a Mac user and want a low cost option for HD video and Digital stills for slide shows then this camera is very worthy of consideration . It comes with all the cables you will need and the docking station is really well designed allowing you to play your footage back on a HD TV with HDMI port.

This is a really great camera for the asking price.
