Product Description

"Suddenly it is ok to play with your food...even for us adults! The Spirali from Lurch is an innovative spiral cutter for making spirals, strips, vegetable spaghetti and slices from fruit and vegetables.

The Spirali holds fruit and vegetables for horizontal processing, allowing the operator to easily apply pressure on produce with a separate feed handle as it goes through any one of the three modular stainless steel blades.

It can make spiral shapes, slices and spaghetti strips from most fruit and vegetables. The ingenious design allows for fast, easy assembly and compact storage when not in use. Its easy to clean and the suction feet keep it all stable when you wind the handle across. The blades on the Spirali (unlike its partner the Spiralo) locate produce with a central corer that is handy for things like cucumber and apples but it does leave you with a tiny cylinder of un-processed waste on core-less produce.

Spruce up your salads, frill up your fruit and scintillate your stir-fries with the Spirali!"

Customer Reviews

Love it! 5
I don't usually write reviews but just had to say that this is a fantastic product! I've used it on courgettes, cucumbers, onions, potatoes, carrots, peppers and cheese. Haven't tried butternut squash but that will be next! Makes a gorgeous spiral Greek salad. I really like being able to use veg as "pasta" as I am on a low carb diet. Really fun product!

Food is Fun Again!!5
This is a really fun piece of kitchen equipment. Good sturdy build and does everything it says on the box.

However, with hindsight, I wish I had bought the vertical Lurch Spiralo - but only because my kitchen is quite small and the horizontal Spirali takes up more worktop space than I expected. Also, it seems that the Spiralo spiralizes the whole width of the vegetable and doesn't waste the centre the way this model does.

So I will still give it 5 stars for performance and build, but personally, I think the Spiralo is probably a better (and later?) design.

Brilliant product4
I bought this a week ago now and i`m really pleased with the whole product.
The suction cups on the feet keep the spirilizer stuck fast to the work surface and the blades are extremely sharp.
It`s also very easy to store as the extra `plates` slide underneath.
I have tried it with cucumber, sweet potato, potatoes, carrots and onion so far and they all worked brilliantly.
