Tascam DR07 portable stereo recorder, my thoughts.
Very impressive at first sight, solid construction, certainly adequate for mobile use, and carrying in a suitable pocket. Battery consumption very good, my use is mainly for recording live Music, and my only criticism, is the recording gain could be higher at times. Has an inbuilt user boost, but this is not enough for all occasions.
Having said all this, I must say I am perfectly happy with it, and the quality of the recordings is very good. All other features work as claimed, some are very good. Playback speed change very good!
Again, what would you expect, it is a Tascam Product, also I believe related to Fostex, of which make I have had a multitrack recorder for many years, still going strong.
So personally it gets a 99% recommendation from me!
Only 4 Stars and 99%, due to the slight lack in gain for low volume sound, to be recorded. Not the end of the world, as this can be boosted later, when editing.
