New Remington S7902 Wet2Straight Slim
“If you thought you couldn’t use straighteners on wet hair, think again, as Remington’s new Wet2Straight Slim is set to revolutionise straightening as you know it.” Celebrity Hairdresser Of The Year 2008, Steven Goldsworthy. Founder of renowned Goldsworthy's salon chain, Steven works with some of the UK’s most glamorous celebrities and often features in top women’s glossy magazines.
Want gorgeously sleek, ultra straight and seriously shiny hair without feeling guilty about possible damage? Want quick, easy, frizz-free straightening? Then the new Remington Wet2Straight is the answer to your prayers.
Better For Your Hair!
Using the very latest technology, Remington’s new Wet2Straight Slim means that now you can not only straighten hair from wet, but it’s actually better for your hair than blowdrying & straightening. Leaving your hair perfectly poker straight and gorgeously shiny, the new Wet2Straight Slim:
Now that’s amazing … a straightener, hairdryer and conditioner all rolled into one … welcome to the future of straightening!
Try It, You’ll Love It!
With its stylish navy blue finish, ergonomic design and sleek curved handle, it looks and feels truly futuristic – and that’s because it is … in fact Remington is the only manufacturer to pioneer this next-generation technology.
Extensive consumer tests have proved that straightening damp hair with the new Wet2Straight Slim is actually better for your hair than straightening dry hair. Of women who tried it:
Getting Straight to the Point … How is it kinder to hair?
Banish the Frizz for up to 8 Hours!
You’ve perfected your straight hair, but there’s nothing worse than having it frizz up on you within a few hours. The new Wet2Straight Slim is so clever, it features unique frizz-resist micro-conditioners – these are infused in each plate and released into your hair as you straighten. The result? Smoother, longer lasting frizz-free hair for up to 8 hours. And as the micro conditioners are so tiny, you can’t see them - but there’s enough of them to last for 5 years!
Take It From The Experts: Q&A With Celebrity Hairdresser Steven Goldsworthy
Remington’s Thought of Everything!
Super slim plates mean getting to the root is a synch, whilst the longer plate lengths mean you can straighten wider sections of hair, making the process even faster. With a mega fast heat up time of just 15 seconds, you can also adjust, and lock, the heat at the desired temperature depending on your hair type. And with an auto shut off after 60 seconds, and a heat proof pouch, you never need to worry about leaving your irons on again!

Customer Reviews
Wet to straight - TOTALLY GREAT!
How excited was I when I saw these were available - VERY! It normally takes me a while to get ready in the morning but the major point is that these straighteners dry your hair whilst you straighten - for me this is such a time saver and gives me longer to decide what to wear!
I love the fact that they leave my hair feeling and looking shiny all day as with my old set, my hair would go frizzy and be put up in a ponytail by lunchtime. From the first day I used them, people asked if I had had my hair coloured or cut as the straighteners enhanced my hair colour and style. The same happened when I used them on dry hair.
It's also good that they are thin so you can get right into the roots and give ultimate volume. They can also be used to create loose waves and curls which again saves having to heat up tongs and ultimately saves time.
This product does not come with sectioning clips but if you have used straighteners before you may already have some or you can get them for a very reasonable cost. This also applies to heat protection spray.
I really can recommend this product as I am very particular about my hair and I cannot see me using anything else now except the Remington S7902 Wet 2 Straight Straightener.
Not Bad...but not brilliant
I am a GHD user, but do get fed up with blow drying then straightening...such a fag! I read the reviews on these babies and took a flyer (as reviews are mixed). I would say that they totally cut down on time and hair is not subjected to double heating (very good), and my hair looks great once finished (people even comment on it). However, the not so good bits are that they do not seem to "clamp" your hair that well, so even if you go over and over a section it does not always give a completely straight result - I have found that if I squeeze the plates together whilst they on my hair (being careful not to burn my fingers!) then this works, but it is not really an ideal solution! Also, after a day, whilst my hair does still remain straight (which it does not with GHD - I have to go over it again daily) it is very greasy...definitely not a good look, I resemble Severus Snape!! So as you can see, there are pros and cons. I am going to persevere though, as I do think my hair benefits from not blow drying it - and as it is not extremely long hair, washing it every other day won't kill me :) PS: I only use the "wet hair" setting (there is a "dry" one too - but to me that defeats the object of why I bought them).
I love going from "wet to straight"
I have very thick shoulder length hair and I hate blow drying it as it just turns into a crazy unmanageable mess. If I wanted to straighten my hair before getting these straighteners I would have to wash it then wait for it to dry naturally.
Now I have these I prefer to straighten from wet. It is, according to the blurb on the pack, actually better for your hair to do it from wet and the hissing noise is all good as it's the water from your hair coming out of the vents as steam. It really is pretty cool to see your hair go from towel dried to completely dry as you straighten - v satisfying.
I have found however that after I have straightened from wet it doesn't look quite as smooth and shiny. I am now in the habit of doing it from wet and then pottering about for a bit and finishing off with the straighteners on the dry setting before I go out. I then get lovely smooth shiny hair. I wonder if it's because my hair is too wet when I do it first off and am experimenting with letting it dry a little bit more.
First the good:-
The straighteners are very funky to look at, a deep purple colour and quite curved. They come with a lovely silver heatproof pouch to put them away in.
They have a clear digital display which flashes until it's up to temp then alerts you with a beep.
You can lock the keys while straightening to prevent you turning them off or accidentally changing the temp.
The display is a different colour depending on whether you are straightening wet or dry hair.
It heats up very quickly.
The bad :-
It's curviness makes it a bit awkward to put down. It falls onto it's side and feels a bit unstable. I may feel better about this if I had a heat mat.
You have to be careful to have the vents pointing away from your face and hands or you'll get burnt when the steam comes out.
All in all I am thrilled with these straighteners and I have high hopes for the Wet to straight thing working for me. I will try and update in a few weeks as to how I am getting on.
