Average customer review:Product Description
The use of elastic resistance tubing for exercise, injury rehabilitation, and athletic training has grown exponentially for the past several years. Serious athletes have been using resistance tubing for a decade, and now increasing numbers of everyday exercisers have taken to tubing for fitness, strength, and overall conditioning. Resistance bands are portable, versatile, and exercise specific muscles and muscle groups better than exercise machines or free weights. "The Resistance Band Workout Book" details over 100 exercises using resistance bands for every muscle group, and also provides sport-specific exercises for a variety of popular sports. Included too are instructions for tailoring your own workout and sample workouts geared for every level of fitness.

Customer Reviews
OK but the demonstration diagrame's could be better
I purchased the Resistance Band Workout Book after been shown some Thera Band exercises by my physiotherapist whilst undergoing treatment for lower back pain. I work out regularly in the Gym and do a lot of Pilates and Gym Ball exercises.
The book covers a full range of exercises but the exercises could be explained a little better and the diagrams could be more thorough.
The "Resistance Band Workout" by James Milligan is a much better book (Available on Amazon).
Missed opportunity
I'm sorry to have ended up with this book. Whilst it has good advice on workouts etc., the individual exercises are not well illustrated, and, most irritatingly of all, the grouping of them into 'chest and arms' etc. isn't helpful: which are chest, which are arms and which are triceps? You need to know this to design workouts for yourself. I think you'd have to be pretty expert to get something good out of this book, in which case you wouldn't need it.
