Goodbye Nocturne
You get suspicious when an Exiles character is given an individual front cover as this sometimes means that it is their last issue. Unfortunately Nocturne bows out in this issue. However, she doesn't die and the way that the writers have dealt with it leads you to believe that there may be more appearances by her in the future (like what happened with Blink). Her role as pointy-earred blue female is taken over by Namora, a blue Atlantean and the under-sea nation's first mutant. In one storyline she encounters her male counterpart, Namor, Prince of Atlantis which is quite interesting.
The collection of stories in this GN includes appearances by the Brotherhood of evil mutants, the Fantastic Four and the Impossible Man and is generally quite good although nothing spectatular. Another addition to the team is Barnell Bohusk (Beak) from New X-men. Again the writers lead us to believe that there's something important in store for him in the future. Generally good although nothing really happens to let you know more about the members of the Exiles team with the exception of the new arrivals.
