Beware The Color Nightmare!
This is great as long as it doesn't come into contact with water. Much like a Mogwai (Gremlins), when in contact with water the fun stops and ink just covers everything. We have a ruined kitchen table as a result and I do accept that there is a warning on the packaging stating that ink may run if it comes into contact with water but anyone with children will know that accidents can (and more often than not, do) happen. Unfortunately the ink isn't wipe off either, when in contact with wood it acts like stain and we have a beautiful pattern on our kitchen table. Great idea just a shame about the flaws but if you're sure you're able to keep children under constant supervision when playing with it then great, just be aware!

A colourful explosion-but short lived!
My son absolutely adored his color explosion set. The stencils that come with the book are easy to use and the effects that the magic pens reveal are great. However, I have searched the net and cannot find any extra colouring books, only the same set with the pens etc. This is a shame because our pens have plenty of life left in them and I refuse to buy any more. A great idea but be prepared for only a couple of hours of fum before the paper runs out!

i know about 4 children who received this item and had great fun creating works of art on the black paper instead of furniture and walls children love the way when they draw with the markers the colours magically appear and may i add parents love the nice clean hands and faces when their picture is finished a very nice item and good value too recommend this item to any parent whose child loves drawing and colouring as with this it does the colouring and drawing at the same time with an abundance of colour the only downfall is that when the paper is rubbed with wet fingers the black from the page can go on the hands then however i dont think too many children will master that one in a aim to deliberately get messy my 5yr old worked this out when she tried to paint on the page with a wet paintbrush to see what would happen and boy did she love the result!!mess!brilliant item great value and kids will love it
