We're Go-Going Crazy...
...in our house because for my five-year-old son these are the next big thing. A packet of three Go Gos with stickers costs only one pound so they fall very nicely into the pocket money bracket. The figures themselves are small, colourful, durable and bursting with individuality and personality. Eighty to collect (plus different colour combinations) will keep him going.

The album too is a must-have. Again, it costs only one pound and has fun statistics and names for all of the Go Gos. A nice touch are the various games with simple rules. Why the five stars for educational value? Well, my son looks at this album all the time and can now easily recognise the numbers from 1-80. He also happily copies out the characters' names so improving his writing skills.

Go Gos are great - the only downside is they get everywhere in our house. From personal experience it's not nice to tread on one with bare feet!!

Gogo's - all the rage
These are great toys. They have an immediate fascination due to their size and shape and are becoming a huge craze.

You can swap them, collect them and play loads of different games with them.

My favourite game is an anarchic cross between marbles and subuteo - line up 2 teams and flick one team's members at the other's to knock them out of the battlefield. The winner is the team with the most members left standing.

gogo's kids love them
my daughter loves these things, the kids get very involved especially if they learn about the various characteristics of each gogo, also socialable in that they learn to trade and swap with friends at school, although our local teachers have put a ban on gogo's except at play-time!
