Bulgaria Vocal Traditions
An excellent CD in every respect. If you are tired of all the assumptions that from the basis for accepted Western tonality then this CD will be refreshing. Go straight to tack 5 (Vido Dva Vetra Veyat) for an example of how adjacent semitones can be considered a delicious harmony rather than dissonance.
Not exactly easy listening, but well worth the effort.
