Synopsis
Scott Bakula (Star Trek - Enterprise) stars as brilliant scientist Sam Beckett, who in experimenting with time travel, loses himself in a perpetual warp that catapults him into the bodies and lives of random people throughout time. While he temporarily inhabits a person's body, Sam also must solve a problem or mystery in that person's life (the solving of which triggers another jump). Continually trying to find a way to his home time, Sam has the help of Rear Admiral Albert 'Al' Calavicci (Dean Stockwell), who appears, only to Sam, in hologram form, and the supercomputer Ziggy (voiced by Deborah Pratt), which provides clues for solving each episode's mystery. This program contains all 22 episodes of the second season.

Quantum Leap Rocks5
Excellent ! At last !! A Proper Season 2 - No music cuts, like the USA versions. Just ordered mine - uncut and original leap -ins and outs

Whoo hoo - now i need to sell my R1 sets

Oh Boy!! What a great show...4
I remember watching this on its original showing and it is still as fresh today as it was back then. A great concept to begin with, the 2 lead characters interact brilliantly and Scott Bakula is never less than likeable in his portrayal of Sam Beckett. What comes over strongly is that the actors seem to be enjoying themselves and have fun with the characters they portray. Some of the best ever episodes are in this season and although each story is complete in itself, we are given insights into both the characters' backgrounds and the Quantum Leap project itself. Light entertainment that can be watched by the whole family - always enjoyable and sometimes thought-provoking. Only quibble is the lack of a booklet or information about the episodes other than just the titles...but otherwise a set worth having. and i love the shiny box it comes in!!!
