Good frame, but issues over gears and saddle
The frame and suspension of this bike seem to be of good build quality, but do check the bike over thoroughly before use. After putting it together and giving it a test ride, I discovered the gears were not working properly. On selecting for example, gear 2 on the right gear shift, the chain had moved to 3, and this was repeated on other gear selections - it seemed to be jumping gears. I spent a considerable amount of time adjusting the gear mechanisms to stop this happening. Also, the brakes needed adjusting, and this also took some time. Whilst I may have been unlucky in receiving a poorly factory set-up bike, I would urge anyone considering buying this bike to check all fittings and the gear mechanism. I am going to have the bike safety tested at a bike shop just to make sure all is well, but I was a little disappointed having to spend so much time on initial set up after reading the other glowing reviews. Also, for me as a 40 year old, I found the saddle very uncomfortable - so you might want to add the cost of upgrading this into your budget, but this is in common with most new bikes sold nowadays.

However, on the plus side, as mentioned earlier, the frame and suspension seem well built, so if you are after a budget bike which looks good, this seems to fit the bill, but do spend time making sure the initial set up is satisfactory and safe.

Fantastic
Easy to put together.It has good quality components for the price.Also i am 6ft 3in tall and it was a perfect size for me.Tools were included along with instructions.Also in the box was a front mudguard.Very pleased with the bike.

Great bike
This bike was purchased for my 6ft 2 14yr old son. I bought it because its frame was bigger than your average bike due to son having 34inch inside leg! It was easy to put together by myself (A woman) and it is the perfect size for him. Do not buy this bike if you are short legged it will be to big. Great price and he is the envy of his mates.
