Having switched to a gas barbecue I missed playing with "real fire". So rather than buying a boring unsightly gas patio heater I opted for some real flames and real heat. This brazier is the business. It's nice and sturdy and looks great in a modern art kinda way. Good with coals or logs but logs smell a lot better when burning. It can be used as a barbecue but I didn't want to mess mine up by dripping food fat all over it. But it's neat for toasting crumpets and marshmallows too! It's a good height for poking the burning embers and the guard prevents the lose bits floating up and setting fire to the neighbours shed. (It wasn't me!!!) Basically just what I wanted for the patio to prolong the summer night outdoor wine drinking sessions.
A must for all you budding pyromaniacs!!
