this watch is well worth the money for anyone who wants to know the time,
uncomplicated by features: ie date, month etc. An ideal watch that is durable and keeps good time.

STUPID HOUR AND SECOND HAND
Decent watch and quite robust. It looks pretty nice. The only real problem is the design of the hour hand and the second hand. The hour hand has very little luminous paint on it, whilst the second hand has a pronounced circular blob of paint at it's opposite end. This means that at a glance, in daylight or at night, the two prominent positions are the minute hand and the tail of the second hand (see the picture on Amazon). this makes it easy to misread the time unless you really study it. I managed to rectify the problem by taking the watch apart and breaking the entire second hand off with a small needle. I no longer have a second hand but at least I can tell the time easily. Good watch, poor design.

Casio Watch
Owned this watch for two years and have worn it mountain biking, white water rafting, snorkling, swimming and to the water park. Apparently it will still function 100 meters under the deep blue sea however should I find myself there, telling the time will be the least of my worries. Face guard has kept the glass scratch free. On the minus side paint wears off the guard leaving the watch looking tatty, is difficult to read at a glance (stupid hour hand is a victory for style over functionality and can't be read in the dark...oh! and the strap retainer has split.
