Hard to put down and perfect for the airport and beach4
I recently read this while abroad and thought I would review what was a excellent holiday read. Originally I had planned on read Dostoevsky but found myself needing something lighter and picked up this little gem. Not that I'm saying Higgins is a better writer than Dostoevsky, I'm in no doubt he isn't but the book is very addictive and engaging (aside from the good title). Higgins writing style is very readable and the plot of a Nazi general on the escape leads to a trilling storyline. I'm definitely going to read more from this author and recommend you try this.

A Good Read5
Reviewing a book is a lot harder than reviewing a piece of electronics because one has to be careful not to give the plot away and ruin the experience for others. So with that in mind all i can say is that i was reading another book when i picked this up to browse and before i knew it i was sucked in. It is rare these days that i read a book and lose all track of time, but this book is one of those. This is my first Jack Higgins book and i will deffinately be reading more of his.
