Loved this book as a young girl love it as woman tears joy and love well done

WE ALL HAVE FRIENDS.....BUT WE ALL HAVE ONE VERY BEST FRIEND
I first saw the film and then i read the book. I was astounded by how powereful it was, even though i alredy know what was going to happen it still grabs you and has you grabbing for the kleenex! The folows the volatile friendship of loud-mouthed larger than life character CeeCee Bloom an dwell brought up, quite, snobbish Bertie Baron. These two meet on the beach one day and their friendship begins straight away. What follows is a touching and mesmerising accountof these two contrasting characters turbulant and troublesome lives. I read this book 3 time sin a row and it still had me crying. I suggest you read the sequel BEACHES2 I'LL BE THERE which is just as heart-rending. It'll make you laugh,cry,think,feel and laugh and cry some more....i bit like life really!
