About the Author
Josie Lloyd and Emlyn Rees each had novels of their own published before teaming up to write the bestsellers Come Together, Come Again, The Boy Next Door, Love Lives and We Are Family. Their work has been translated into twenty-six languages. They are married and live in London with their two daughters.

LOVE IT
I am a hugh fun of these two and love everything they have writen together and apart!
This is a feel good book! One to make you smile and think all is well!

So-So
As an avid reader of everything by the married Lloyd and Rees, I was suprised by this one to be honest. Love Lives (the previous title) was a superb book, great storyline, great characters... but I found The Three Day Rule a bit... so what?! I didnt like any of the Thorne family that feature, I didnt feel connected to the area the book is set in, and I wasnt overly interested in what happens at all... Having said that, at times it is quite funny and touching, and obviously anything by Lloyd & Rees is head and shoulders above many other chick lit titles out there - so read it and see what you think.

a great winter read
I read this book a while ago, so not sure why this is being advertised as a new title.
Having said that, I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Read it over xmas and you won't care if the TV is boring; you'll be engrossed in this tense story. Terrible weather cuts off inhabitants of a small island over xmas. So family problems have to be faced up to and sorted because there's no escape!This is a book to return to each winter, to remind yourself how much you enjoyed reading it the first time!
