Pretty good coverage for GCSE Level
I bought this text to accompany my studies of GCSE Human Physiology and Health at a local college. It really is quite good and covers the AQA syllabus in good detail. There are lots of coloured diagrams and pictures which facilitate learning and the text is easy to follow.

There is a lot more info in the book than you would need for the actual exam, but that's better than too little! You'll need to use your syllabus with it so that you don't spend too much time learning many points that are not called for for GCSE.

The only thing I found a bit irritating was the two contents pages and the fact that the list of practicals came first and not the list of chapter titles! You had to turn the page for the info you really needed straight off. That was a daft decision by the publisher, but all in all, it's a pretty good book.

This book has some excellent information, presented in an easy to understand form. My students have found this book very useful for both courses.
